I have always loved dogs, even though I didn’t have one of my own for many years. That changed when I had the chance to look after a dog for a few months, and he quickly became very special to me. Caring for him made me realise how much our dogs deserve to be treated as equals in the family and given the very best. I wanted to create treats that support their health as well as their happiness, and that is how Yakee Treats was born. The love I had for that dog is at the heart of this business and inspires everything we do.

Each bar contains at least 30% pure yak milk mixed with cow’s milk, Himalayan salt, and fresh Himalayan lime juice. Nothing artificial is added. The bars are slowly smoked to lock in natural taste and goodness.

Yakee Treats began in 2022 with just 3 cows, 2 yaks, and one farmer in a remote village in Nepal. Our vision was simple: create natural yak chews that support the local community by providing fair funding for farmers, workers, and their families—while ensuring education for the children.
Today, we’re proud to support over 20 families through our village factory. We work with 6 dedicated dairy farmers and several healthy yaks, using green energy wherever possible. Every chew you buy directly funds better lives and sustainable practices in the Himalayas.
