Returns and Refunds Policy
1. Your Right to Cancel

1.1 Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges)

Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.

 

1.2 Please note that, because we supply pet food products, certain restrictions apply for

reasons of health, safety, and hygiene, as set out below.

2. Perishable and Sealed Goods

2.1 For the health and safety of pets, we can only accept returns in the following

circumstances: 

Unopened and sealed: The product must be in its original, unopened, and undamaged

packaging with all seals intact.

 

Reasonable care: The goods must have been stored in appropriate conditions (for

example, cool and dry), in accordance with the storage instructions on the label.

 

2.2 Once a bag of dog food or a packet of treats has been opened, it will not be eligible for a

return or refund for “change of mind” reasons, due to the risk of contamination and the

perishable nature of the product.

3. Faulty or Damaged Goods

3.1 If your order arrives damaged, or if you believe that the product is faulty (for example, it

does not match the description or is of unsatisfactory quality), you must contact us at

YAKEETREATS@GMAIL.COM within 24 HOURS of delivery.

 

3.2 We may request photographs of the product, including the batch number, expiry date, and

the issue you have identified, to help us investigate.

 

3.3 If, following our assessment, the product is found to be faulty or not as described, we will

offer you a replacement at no additional cost or a full refund, in accordance with your

statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015

4. How to Return

4.1 To initiate a return, you must contact us in advance using the contact details provided on

our website. Returns sent without prior notification may not be accepted.

 

4.2 Unless the goods are confirmed to be faulty or not as described, you will be responsible

for the cost of returning the items to us.

 

4.3 We recommend that you use a tracked postal or courier service for any returns. We

cannot be held responsible for items that are lost, delayed, or damaged in transit.

 

4.4 Refunds (where applicable) will be processed using the original method of payment

within a reasonable period after we receive and inspect the returned goods.
